Terrible service. Basically a sales center I was informed at great length what add-ons and extras i could sign up for, while my original request took 3 visits to complete. In the meantime I received piles of snail mail and a bombardment of spam emails. Worse than US DMV.

Dont touch their insurance its an awful experience. claims who sent me to an expenssive, rude company that did n’t take credit card payments and another who only wanted cash.. Their liability department was. arbitrary depending who you got, one doing the opposite of what the other promised and wrote down. Getting the owner’s name, regio, photo of the moment and offending car not enough.Still waiting. Took me in excess of twenty five hours,so far, to deal with the claim, with no cover in my policy for costs. I only found out they were acting for both sides from the owner of the other vehicle, I tracked down. They should have told me. No emails about the claim, but how will I remeber claims when they want 7 years claims history. Never told me they had already followed up my Police report, so muggins showed up at the Police Station and asked the same things. Left a message about the result again requesting To be called back, but no reply to me untill I called again a week later. Seriously considering issuing a summons to get my excess back. Without emails from aa it was hard to work out where to send information. I tried to use the contact form on the aa insurance web site but it prevented me after a very few words. I tried to register and use the App they sent me, but the login system does not seem to work. So wasted an hour on that. I terminated both insurances the same day and of course no refund of any prepayment. Still waiting for the excess to be refunded...have sent them the usb stick twice with the video signature required . The first one was signed for, but they say they never got it. The second one they say they dont have software to open the file type. when I sent the player, as a second file on the usb stick, then by email link. Really? The car has been back to the bodyshop twice to be put right, but the lifetime guarantee from the repairer is pretty see you in court and you prove the before and after pics. I have had enogh of their gaming. Strategy employ people to wear you down till you give up. And today, Unfortunately, we are not permitted to install new programmes on our PC's, and any that need to be done will have to be reviewed by our security team, and would then require an administrator to install, which we do not have. In some cases, the whole PC needs to be sent back to our security team for them to install which takes time, naturally. In your case, we’ll need the file to be sent to us that our system allows. I have thought of other options that we can attempt before discussing a Disputes Tribunal, which are as follows: With your consent, I take your USB stick home and see if my computer opens the file The links you sent to me directly, (which I cannot open) be forwarded to the other party to see if they can open the file from their end The other option which was suggested by the other party was if he could view the footage on neutral grounds – . We can also send the USB stick to the AA Centre in Palmerston North (arrangement pending) for the other party to view there with your consent. In terms of the Disputes Tribunal, pending your response to the previously mentioned options, we would submit the application on your behalf against the other party. The “third version” that you mentioned would obviously be required in our application which would need to be sent in by yourself to the courts and the other party. But as previously advised, all that is required to avoid this process is the footage in a format that we can view and pass on. In relation to the issues you have raised regarding the repairs, I have referred to your Customer Manager. Please confirm how you wish for us to proceed. Regards,

My wife left the car on overnight and flattened the battery. She called the Palmerston North AA. They came around and rather than give her a jump start or charge her battery they said it was no good and sold her a new battery and took away what I know was a perfectly good battery. I consider this a double act of theft and will be attempting to get my stolen battery returned.

Staff were very helpful and there was also plenty of staff to help customers. A basket of toys to keep the kids entertained during the long wait in line. Absolutely RUBBISH parking available considering they offer driver testing. Both times I went (at different days and times) I had to park nearly 2 blocks away.
