  Thank you very much for your advice today with my friend's computer. Went back home and tried a few things, finally decided to ring Orcon, then by asking the right questions and making the right comments was given some helpful (recorded) information. The problem source turned out to be the worn out old power board (we had already checked that everything was well plugged in). I am very pleased with the outcome, it has cost nothing where it might have cost more. As well I am generally helpless with technical problem solving, and simple as this problem was in the end, I am happy with the outcome to which you contributed a lot. Thanks again.
