  Have stayed in three different rooms over a couple of years. Last stay 2 nights ago. All rooms well appointed, very clean and tidy. Both visits had middle of the night air port shuttle pick up. This is a great service. Room service was good and the quickest service I have ever had. I would recommend the Airport Gateway to all my friends heading over the ditch to Christchurch.

  Terrivel! Fizemos uma reserva para 2 quartos. Acreditem!! Colocaram-nos em dois quartos em lados opostos do hotel. Pedimos a recepcionista para que nos alocassem juntos e a resposta dela por diversas vezes foi “so sorry”. Sem sentido a alocacao equivocada e mais ainda a falta de disposicao de resolver a situacao, pior é depois constatar que havia quartos vazios proximos a um dos que nos alocaram. Muito ruim o atendimento e a falta de vontade de resolver. Quanto ao quarto azoavel em termos de limpeza e com mobiliario um pouco desgastado. Procure evitar se tiver outra opcao em Christchurch.

  Great service, nice rooms. We had dinner here as well whixh was good. Beds super comfy and really close to the airport.

  Motel+. Good size modern clean rooms at a fair rate. We had room 517, a second level king studio just to the left of the entrance, for three nights. Although road adjacent, the rooms all face inwards so there was very little road noise. The bathroom is a good size for two people. The kitchenette was well stocked. Bed was good and firm. Electric blankets, but with a thick enough underlay that you can't feel the wires (personal bugbear). Heat pump. Highly recommend this place as an alternative to an airport hotel. As an airport proximal accommodation, the location is not ideal. The only place to eat in the evenings nearby is the on site restaurant, which closes at 9.30. Perhaps dinner is OK, but breakfast and coffee is mediocre. I don't hold this against them as they're clearly trying, but they definitely could do a lot brute. Luckily there is a nearby Cafe ("43 degrees") that is open from 7.30 week days. All in all, good experience.
