  Don’t waste your time, find another motel. Rooms smelt, building is all wood which creeks (loudly) all night and makes it hard to sleep. Walls are paper thin so we could hear the people next door all night. Heating wasn’t able to be adjusted so it was so hot it made it uncomfortable. Parking is first in best dressed so you may be forced to park on the road or pay for parking elsewhere. Staff were rude when checking in and not very helpful. Wouldn’t go back, worth paying a little more to stay somewhere comfortable!

  The lovely lady at the front desk was amazing. I was sick during my stay and she offered to pick some things up for me. The facilities were perfect for being so close to New World. Microwave, kettle, toaster etc. Everything i needed.

  Beautiful location. Great food. Not cheap, but good value for money none the less.

  As others have said the parking is very tight, but the unit was fine and facilities good. The bed was comfortable and despite the motel being close to the centre of Wanaka, noise was not a problem. There were adequate cooking facilities and the room and probably all rooms face the afternoon sun which was pleasant and allowed the room to remain bright. My review ratings try to be consistent and very rarely allocate a 5. Any that I give a 3 rating is good and am happy to stay there again.
