  Horrified at the staff! As a gift I paid 3 nights for my daughter, partner and 3 grandchildren who were visiting from Australia to stay here so that they could be close to the sister-in-law who was due to have a baby. They were treated in a disgusting manner. The sister stays at this same motel under emergency housing....my daughter and family were treated as if they were staying in the motel under emergency housing because of the affiliation. They were refused extra towels for the spa even though signs on doors offered them up to all guests, and the manager kept referring to their stay as emergency housing tenants so did not feel the need to clean their room daily. He kept quoting rules and policies verbally that did not exist on the information pack. I myself visited for 5 minutes on boxing Day to wish the whanau happy holidays to at which point he decided to have a go at my daughter which turned into a verbal argument that the nanager recorded all the while swearing when he was told that an official complaint would be made to Asure. The kids were extremely upset and my daughter says it had to be the worst holiday ever. They moved to a hotel across the road where they had great service! I am writing this review because the booking was in my name, paid by myself and I met the manager onsite the day of the booking.

  Staff attentive, bit of a odd layout to the 2 bed unit having to go through one bed room to get to the bathroom. Was there on a very warm evening so had to have the windows open overnight which was marred by the close main road and constant traffic noise. Would benefit from air con.

  My wife and I showed up in the middle of the night and Jowen got up to check us in. We are quite grateful. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed our stay! I recommend staying here!
