  All round very good except having to wait at the cashier desk for quite some time even though staff saw us waiting but polished glasses instead of giving service

  Family owned business that has been going for over 17 years which I guess speaks for itself in a place like Takapuna where standards are high and guests are discerning. Good size menu and wine list. Great food as always and quick friendly service.

  Good overall with their special lunch deal. Very slow service for a large group we had approx 25 for lunch @1pm food did not even start coming out until past 2pm.... Vegetarian options were very good but incredibly scanty compared to the meat eaters! We had to order some more items to feel satisfied and none of us were big eaters!

  Service: 1/5 We had to wait 1/2 hour for the starters of bread, and 1 1/2 hours for the main course. I'd recommend the soup for starters, as the bread is store bought and tastes pretty average. Food: 4.5/5 The mains especially were really good, and decent sizes. I ordered the seafood pasta, the pasta was clearly not homemade but still ok. Seafood was fresh and sauce was good too. The cheesecake was excellent (was a mocha one), a bit like a mousse in that the consistency was nice and light, not too sweet and not too little sugar either. The berries were clearly frozen.
