  Bought a new pair of EL-8 closed back from Terry last Friday. The latest revision feels sturdier and still sounds pretty good. But it's a little bit hard to drive by an iPhone, the volume is pretty good on my MacBook Pro tho. And it sounds better with an AMP. Some comments about EL-8: Build quality is supreme, like a tank, but it's a shame that there are always some marks on the wood and the paint is missing on some parts on every new pair of headphones, looks like it's easy to get chipped off, not very serious but it's annoying. I reckon it was caused by Audeze's testing procedure, the stuffs will need to test and burn-in all the headphones before shipping to customers. Sound quality is definitely great, you don't need to worry about it when buying a product from Audeze. Closed back model doesn't leak music at all, super ideal for listening in the office. Hopefully the revised EL-8 won't have any quality issue and can last for years. 29th May 2017 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to write a comment again to express my thanks. My headphones failed due to manufacturer problems, Terry is very reasonable and responsible with my headphone issues. Even if I have returned my headphones, I still highly appreciate Terry's attitude towards clients, very gentle and patient. Will definitely come again if there are other models of my interest. Sorry about the faulty product, but happy to know you. All the best!

  Bought a pair of Audeze EL-8 Open Back Headphones from Terry, very good service and attitude. Really appreciate the special appointment for me on Sunday. If anyone wants to get high-end headphones or speakers, I would highly recommend you to get in touch with Terry! :-)

  Went to get a replacement for the EL-8 and it was a genuinely delightful experience, the owner is very laid back and chill. Awesome service and very helpful. 10/10
