  Nice staff and good location. The mini fridge in our unit didn't work but that wasn't much of a bother for our short stay. Staff accommodating to our requests for blankets and more pillows.

  Backpackers friendly, small drive to the main city: shopping easy. Nice FREE places to go on the weekend. Usually there is job at the farms and pack houses around. Enjoyed my 3 mouths here!

  We were staying at Bell Lodge for one month and can say that it was a really nice stay there! Our room was clean and we felt very comfortable in it. Also the kitchen and the lounge were tidy as well! The kitchen has many facilities for cooking something so you can do everything you want. Some people did tiramisu or bake cakes as an example. Generally all people we met there were very friendly and we did a lot of things together like watching films or playing games. Sheree and Rick are two lovely hosts and care about the people who stay there. They helped us with a lot of things we came with. There was also something to do on our car and Rick helped us repairing it. The office is open for a long time and you can also come to them when the office is closed. By the way...I can't understand why people here wrote such a bullshit about Sheree and above all Rick. Nobody deserves it to hear such bad things about themself! I hope all people who think about staying at Bell Lodge don't hear of that what these people say in the comments below. We were glad to stay here and know many other people who liked it as well! *There is one suggestion we have for Sheree and Rick: it would be better if you change the time for cleaning the kitchen...9am is not so good because everyone wants to eat breakfast/ prepare food for work and they have to go to work at this time. We made better experience with 11am or something like that... Kim & Jessica
