  Friendly staff and exceptional service makes this store feel incredibly local (despite being a chain store). They offer unbeatable deals on hire bikes and new bike purchases in Rotorua. I could not recommend Will, Max and the team highly enough.

  Bad service. Charged 15$ more for no reason, found out it later from other people who also rent bikes here. Very disappointed.

  Bike Barn is the best and most friendly shop in Rotorua. I was recently visiting from out of town and snapped my rear derailleur cable late in the afternoon. I reached out to three other shops in town to see if they could spend the 15 minutes to replace the cable that afternoon as I was planning on riding early that next morning and didn't have the tools with me to do it myself. I understand they were busy and had other bikes were priority, but they didn't even sound like they wanted to take the time to talk and help direct me to another shop or person in town that could help someone like me who was not familiar with the area. I finally called Bike Barn and Max hooked it up! He not only fixed my cable (in 5 minutes) but also helped put on a new rear cassette that I was in much need of. He pointed me in the right direction on what trails to ride the next morning and a general overview of Rotorua and the area. The price for everything was very competitive, even cheap compared to what I am used to (they even gave me a discount on the cassette) and service was top notch. Call Bike Barn first if you are in the area and are in need of anything, especially parts and maintenance. Ask for Max!
