::Staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. They have an amazing selection of pet toys and food. They have puppies in stock most of the time. Parking is a bit of hit and miss sometimes as they have a small carpark. There are off street parking nearby.

::This is the place to go if you need supplies or information about birds. The staff are fantastic and kind. There are tons of birds and lizards to see and choose from. There is an ajacent pet store that caters for all other domestic pets to. They staff are better informed and educated than any of the other local pet stores.

::A Westie community institution. If you want a well-run pet shop, this is it. Everyone Out West knows where the Bird Barn is -- and many people's first experience with animals would have been visiting this store, as a kid. They cater to all animals, not just birds, and they seem to only hire staff who are passionate and knowledgeable about animals. Good prices, great service, friendly staff (mostly young people). Recommended.
