  Stopped into this place on a whim, as we liked the look. It has Meat decor, an interesting menu, and some good beer. Their menu is quite innovative, including such items as pumpkin lasagna and parsnip desserts. Service was good, if a little slow. We were seated by the door, and found that it was quite cold. There was no draft, it was just cold by the window.

  One of the best meals out in the Bay, yet surprisingly not too hard to get a table. Staff went out of their way to provide excellent service and we're happy to modify the set course to vegetarian version for one of us. Recommend the set course and the matched wine option if you're looking for a special night out. Thanks Steph for adding entertainment to our meal.

  Three of us had the degustation menu, two with paired wine. Fantastic food, beautiful paired wines, really knowledgeable and helpful waitstaff, able to discuss each course and wine. Just an amazing evening.

  Enjoyed an imaginative and tasty three course meal for two at a very reasonable price. Attentive and informative service. Would highly recommend.

  Whilst the food was divine, and I totally get what they're trying to achieve, the Manager was slightly rude, struggled to accommodate us, when the place was empty. But they did accommodate us, with kids, so was appreciated. The wait staff could have done more to explain the food, or at least what Bistronomy were trying to achieve, so that expectations could be set. This wasn't done, so we were left a little perplexed, but still enjoyed the experience. We've been to many degustation meals and enjoy them - but only when we were prepared and understood what we were getting ourselves into!
