  Bluebridge is a fine alternative to The Interislander for locals and for motorhome users. However, if you have hired a one-way car rental between the North and South Islands (or vice-versa), be aware that the major rental companies don't want you talking their car across. Your one-way rental will actually be a drop off at the ferry terminal and a pick-up at the other end. The major rental companies have offices at The Interislander terminals but not at Bluebridge. This can involve you in some very inconvenient extra logistics and, in the case of the Wellington end on arrival, a $20 taxi fare between Bluebridge and Interislander terminals to collect your replacement car.

  Awesome trip, passed out on the way there. Great support to get me up and running again, trip home was as smooth as a baby's bottom. Easily worth for the money saved. Cheers!

  Freundliche Crew aber es kam zu Verspätung und die Kongruenz kam zeitgleich in picton an, obwohl sie später losgefahren ist
