  Another one of New Plymouth's fantastic attractions is this incredible mini zoo. I was amazed this was free admittance. It contains some cool animals like Meerkats, Cotton Top Tamarins and Otters, as well as petting zoo animals and a kids playground. If I lived in New Plymouth I think I'd be visiting all the time, with or without the kids!

  Beautiful park, great place to picnic and run around. The zoo is nice but is super small. For toddlers, it doesn't matter because the playground is pretty big. Nice staff and the meet the zookeeper events are interesting.

  One of NZ,s best parks with several trees over two thousand years old it's a rare treat to find such native beauty in the middle of a city, New Zealand's equivalent of America's New York,s beautiful park.

  Beautiful park and the Brooklands zoo is just fantastic. Very small but kids love it and it has a great playground. It's a family sized zoo with no entry fee and some lovely exhibits. An awesome place to take the family and catch up with family friends.
