After trying my best to order a ladder from your whangarei store, I am giving up. I was transferred to 4 different departments before being cut off. Too hard.

Disconnect between what was on the website as being available and what was actually on the shelves. Staff helpful.

Ich fand den Baumarkt echt gut! Sehr viel Auswahl und alles ist zu einem echt guten Preis. Das Personal war auch super nett!

Do Bunnings read these reviews? Cheap way of getting customer feedback

    • They don’t answer the phone, or at the very best put you through to someone else who’s not there. • They always seem short staffed due to the staff throwing ‘sickies’ or at ‘staff meetings’ • The staff are never to be found on the shop floor – tend to run away when they see you coming. • They are never available at the paint counter • The young fellas at the trade desk don’t know what a purchase order is and don’t understand our ordering system. • The youngsters have little or no product knowledge, and don’t seem to care. The more mature staff are better but usually can’t be found, or are busy with customers. (Other retailers manage to sort this) • Their backordering system for out of stock products doesn’t work well. (it probably would work if the staff followed procedures and notified the customer when the product arrives, rather than putting it out on the shelves) • Low morale and poor motivation amongst the staff is reflected in a high rate of staff turnover including the senior positions. As a result they don’t know their customers. (The floor staff always seem to be looking at their watches or cellphones, counting time) • Their customer service is the pits. For an extra few $’s I’m happy to shop elsewhere, despite Bunnings being just up the road and close to us. Time is money and we cant afford to spend lengthy spells at Bunnings whilst they get their act together. • These points have been echoed by our other purchasing staff, and don’t represent one person’s point of view.
