Used the burger king app to place our order, paid via the app. App is supposed to give you ability to send order to kitchen when you are close but didn't give me the option till I was standing in the restaurant. Sent confirmation to send order to the kitchen. Got confirmation. Waited 15 minutes then asked at counter where my order is and they said "sorry, sometimes it doesn't work. I'll do it now" waited another 10 minutes for order.... Very poor. Should have just used the drive through...

The place was nice and tidy. We liked the improvents that have been made. Food was good too.

The food was fine, the usual Burger King that I'm accustomed to as a US resident. However, this facility was not only the most filthy Burger King I've ever seen, it's the most filthy fast food place I've seen in my 7 weeks travel in New Zealand. The staff and management clearly take no pride in their restaurant. Garbage was strewn across the entire outside eating area, all over the ground, sitting atop tables, smashed into the bushes. I thought maybe a big wind had caused this and soon someone would be cleaning it, but the inside was just as bad. Food and garbage under tables, crumbs on tables and seats, just a mess everywhere. We really shouldn't have eaten in such a dirty place and I hope we don't get sick. As we left we found Burger King filthy papers, smashed cups, napkins all over the corner and along the sidewalk back to our hotel about 2 blocks away. They aren't the least bit concerned with their impact on their community. No more Burger King for us and shame on the owner for not caring.

Bought a double whopper there on a road trip back to Auckland from Coopers Beach and man, it was the best burger I've ever tasted! I've eaten a lot of burgers from BK and other places (cheap to gourmet) but this one was so fresh, juicy and stacked. Even my gluten free wife had to have a few bites (of the contents, not the bun)
