::Usually love going here. Because it's not as busy as the takapuna branch. But the last time I went there, eende up getting food posining from my chicken burnout burger(cheat meal too) so that was exteemeex disappointing and horrid to experince. It put me off burger fuel for a while. wouldn't recommend this branch. Windsor park and takapuma are top notch though.

::Love this place! So on top of the ball and offering vegan/ vegetarian options. 5 stars!

::I have been to the Burgerfuel in Glenfield three times now. My first two experiences were okay but my third will be my last. I ordered the V8 Vegan gourmet vege burger, and the new Caramel Pop Top dessert online. My burger was highly disappointing. I made my regular changes to the burger (a gluten free bun, no onion or aioli) and got a burger with only lettuce, a piece of tomato and some kind of mash (I think the miso pea). Seems whoever made my burger forgot to put the "crumbed pumpkin, carrot, chickpea and ginger bites, and raw grated beetroot w/chia seeds, salad". This was defiantly not worth $15. When I opened the Caramel Pop Top dessert lid the ice cream melted out everywhere. After I poured the dessert into a bowl at home and washed the ice cream off my hands and arms it did taste okay.

::Stopped at BurgerFuel to grab dinner one evening with my girlfriend on the way home from Glenfield Mall. We had heard that they offered a few vegan selections for my girlfriend, so decided to give it a shot despite being a bit over the price we wanted to spend. Just like the reviews say, they certainly don't cheap out on food - the burgers were definitely a handful. Make sure you grab a few napkins. My girlfriend got the V-Dub, which she enjoyed a lot, and I got the Ford Freakout, which was definitely a great quality burger. To top if off, we both got the fries, which came out hot and well seasoned. The only reason I am at 4 stars instead of 5 (aside from the price - it's heartbreaking how all gourmet burgers in Auckland are so expensive) is that we originally wanted to eat in the restaurant, but the staff had the front windows wide open which let in quite the draft. I can understand that the draft would be nice for the staff working over a grill and deep fryer, but it was uncomfortably cold in the dining area. Nevertheless, we packed it all up and finished out walk home. Luckily everything stayed warm! If I feel like an expensive burger again - I would definitely hit up BurgerFuel!
