::The staff are really lovely and helpful. Food was pretty good, I highly recommend the spud fries dipped in a caramel thick shake 🍟🥤 -1 star because the burger was literally dripping/drenched in grease, and soaked through the bun and cardboard holder

::Was looking froward to trying BurgerFuel Timaru. As cabin crew, I rely mostly on BurgerFuel for my low carb dinner fixes in various NZ cities and towns. I've had only good experiences swapping out the bun for the lettuce, except this time it was considerably underwhelming and borderline inedible. Due to lack of low carb food establishments in the area, I ate it so I could eat, but that's about it. It was a rip off for what I got. Will not be returning or recommending.

::Edit: I’ve been told that burger fuel is now having a meeting about my review, my intention was not to make the employees self conscious about their job I’m sorry about that if I have. Thank you to the team at burger fuel for listening to my complaints and putting in an effort to improve 😊. ———— ———— Gone way downhill, me friends and I used to go to burger fuel every other day but now it feels like it’s being run like any other burger fast food place in timaru with little effort in making the burger and way too much sauce on the burger making it soggy. Straight up disappointing with the money it costs for these burgers it stands to reason for it to be quality. I would like to see a change in how this place is operating maybe back to how it was about a year ago. I’ll loved the burgers more than pita pit but now I’ll be going there for my lunch cravings 😔 . I thought it would’ve been a one time thing so I went back but it’s been disappointing pretty often my sister also found it pretty disappointing as a first time customer when she went there, soggy burgers again from the sauce.

::Love the staff and the food. Lately we have been later after finishing work. The sign on the door says open till late. However staff very reluctant to serve us and several people turned away, so they can put their music up and get home. Saw at least 4 people turned away 1 night.
