  Great place to go with kids on a rainy day. Views to Kapiti island from one side and beautiful ranges on another side.

  I went there today with my family and it was great! We must have picked the right day as there was no lines to the slide or inflatables (and its the weekend!!??). The staff were friendly and happy and we left assured to return again. Thanks CAC!

  I've been twice and I honestly feel that it is not set out well. Loads of facilities for disabled folk which is a great plus.. BUT the ladies changing rooms make me feel as if I'm in noisy bazaar with parents letting their kids tell and scream without monitoring them. The floors are dirty and everyone stands on the benches to avoid the floor. The sauna is ok.. just wish people would talk so loudly in there. There's no ventilation that I can see. The pool complex is covered and keeps the chlorine smell locked in. There is ok only 1 water fountain in the entire complex. No where near the sauna but all the way back by the changing rooms. In comparison Taupo AC Baths are royalty.

  Very nice place!! We took our 7 Month old for a swim here and he loved it!! Very reasonably priced! Hydro slide was fun! Lol should have done it a couple more times! Lol

  After lots of community fundraising, the Coastlands Aquatic Centre is finally open. The pool has only 1 hydroslide, and a cafe in the lobby. There are meeting rooms that can be booked. The modern architecture that went into the exterior is outstanding, however the interior inside the pools has some room for improvement.
