  This is a true gem of K'rd. Recently extended and renovated with double the previous seating space. Always great food and very lively atmosphere. Great parfait with sourdough bread, very reasonably priced wine and beer especially during happy hour (before 6). Please note the restaurant gets very very busy very fast. It doesn't take bookings but very nice staff will try to accommodate you or put your name on the waiting board. Worth the wait.

  My favourite thing here is the happy hour pasta on weekdays and the happy hour prosecco to go with it! Sometimes I find their other food a bit rich for my taste. Their tiramisu is one of the best in the city, and the good time vibe is unbeatable! I actually really like that they don’t take bookings so you can just show up and have a drink while waiting for a table.

  Amazing food. Had to wait for a bit but the bar staff were lovely and it was totally worth it. Would definitely come again

  Great food, atmosphere and attitude. Walk in so you should expect to hang around for a drink for a while before a table becomes free. Best coffee martinis in New Zealand - a great option for dessert when you've eaten too much (like I always do).

  Had drinks here before but never dinner. Always was busy. I know why now. We had just a main each, Scotch steak with blue cheese and walnuts on top, large potato wedges, salad and the pork belly with some green leaf vegetable (sorry thought it was like a silver beet thing) with large pickled onions. Both were stunning, didn't want them meal to end, and they were large portions. Had a side salad of beetroot. Everything handmade and it showed. Could not fault it. Also great fast service from front of house and our waitress. Great value and neat decor. The meals at tables beside us looked superb but hard to go pass the pork belly.
