Went in for a pre-movie cocktail which was so good we had to go back for another post-movie! While we were not able to find time to go back for a meal, the food being served looked and smelled amazing. Will definitely come back next time we're in the city.

My husband and I brought our daughter to have dinner here on Sunday. There weren’t not many restaurants opening on Sunday in Nelson so it’s very crowded. Luckily we had a reservation. The waitress was nice. Food was delicious. I liked caesar salad with white achovy. My main dish was prawn and sausages which was awesome too. Our daughter loved her fish of the day dish. My husband ordered Tuna as his main dish. We were happy having dinner here.

Nice ambiance and great many cocktails. They have over 190 gins on site! Nice staff and fab food. Pleasure to dine in. Recommended.

I had a really good pan fried blue cod meal. The bar is amazingly stocked with gins from all over the world. The staff were sometimes a bit slow but made up for it by being friendly and to be fair it was bank holiday Monday.

Great experience! In the seven days that my wife and I have been in New Zealand, eating out twice a day, our experience at Cod and Lobster has been the best. The food was among the best we've had on our trip, but it was the wait staff that put it over the top. They were extremely attentive and seemed to genuinely care. They went to extra lengths to ensure my wife's gluten allergy restrictions were addressed. The service and food was what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant, but the atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Great find!
