  A pleasant stay. Central to CBD and the cafes and restaurants. Easy walking to Pukekura Park and board walk.

  Older hotel but rooms are fairly modern. Problem is that it is a rabbit warren of a place odd rooms. Some are good views. Others just look into yards. Bar and restaurant ok, but personally don't eat there as there are many restaurants very close by . Clean and tidy hotel. Central location and reasonable rates but you get what you pay for.

  Excellent staff and great service to us after our car accident we checked I in late. They were empathetic and kind. Upgraded our room to a deluxe

  Good service and a nice big room. A bit dated but clean, good value.

  Excellent place to stay, very comfortable & for me no stairs as i choose to stay on the base floor. Rooms clean & tidy & a tv on the table opposite the bed. There is also a range of nibbles & drinks in the room that can be had for a price. Situated at the east end of Devon st the hotel is close to eateries & pubs & shops etc. All in all a very comfortable place to stay.
