  I loved the buffet. The rooms were neatly made when we arrived. The television was a bit fuzzy but other than that, this was the best hotel i've ever stayed at

  We stayed here while competing at a national fire fighting competition. We did not pay for the rooms directly. It was unanimous amongst the fire fighters staying in part of the copthorne that we had been booked in the cheap and nasty part of the hotel. We were told Wifi wold not reach our rooms, doors did not work ect. However i have stayed in the nice part before and was happy, just make sure you know where you are getting booked into when staying here because I would be upset if I payed top dollar here.

  I had booked this hotel for 1 night last weekend and to my surprise my husband and I were blessed with the night paid for all the food and mini bar included for free,since we never spend any time alone(grandchildren)and he is a volunteer in Auckland. Arrived into our upgraded room,opened curtains and 1panel was shredded. Next went to make us a coffee,and cup was dirty omg anything worse.....yes, no air conditioning in every room. Spent most of the afternoon outside in car. Will not be back.

  Comfortable bed and very nice big shower. Great location, 2blocks from The Square, but also nice and quiet. Very nice lounge to meet up for evening drinks. Breakfast was great, including fresh fruit and friendly staff. Secure parking too. Only problem was their wifi, it only works in the bar/lounge downstairs. Otherwise we had a fab stay.
