  Good CBD grocery shopping. Good range of product at normal suburban prices. Excellent muffins

  Good place and space to shop. Check out a staff looking after the 'auto checkouts' need to be more aware of the rush hour crowds. Keep looking out for empty scanners to keep the flow moving and direct custom.

  Good staff and selection, but typical Count Down over price and same selection in every store. They're free fruit for kids is a fantastic idea (when it's stocked anyway).

  We were very grateful for this store being in the heart of the CBD when we stayed at Park Hotel Lambton Quay recently on our Wellington Holiday. Not only did it have all the grocery items we needed but also had fresh sandwiches, sushi, some hot food like pies and quiche as well as hot chicken and a bakery. They also sell alcohol - hot and cold at this store. And it was opened till 10pm at night. So if we weren't sure what we wanted to eat after sightseeing we could always find something here. And right next to the Cable Car too.

  I always like to go to countdown. Fresh and quite cheap food, beverage and other stuff. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Very rare to see the store dirty. Most of the time very clean. The bakery has some real good stuff.
