    I would post zero stars if I could , this motel swiped my credit card for security even though I had paid for the room and there was no minibar or consumables, saying my card would not be charged, well they ‘ accidentally ‘ debited my card hoping I would not notice. I was left short of finds for the rest of my trip and took 2 weeks to get the money back only when I complained, fraudsters !

    PERFECT A very convenient location and handy to all facilities. Spacious clean and well maintained rooms that are comfortable and private. Appreciated the friendly, pleasant and helpful staff and management. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to recommend to any future guests looking for quality accomodation.

    No thrills but tidy and clean. Is budget and off the main drag but had a good night sleep and free wifi worked.

    Not happy with the accommodation... rang specifically and spoke in person to book the rooms for two nights as was traveling quite a way, payed for within minutes of booking, only to have a phone call on the morning of traveling to Auckland to tell me I hadn’t payed , which the owner failed to actually look and realise I had payed on the day of booking!!!!!, on arrival then found out that the room we had been given wasn’t even what I had booked,no two bedroom, no porta cot had been written down, wasn’t on ground floor and no air conditioning!!!! Then walked into the room to find a huge puddle of water by fridge!!!! Next the toilet wouldn’t stop running, side of couch was broken, ants appeared everywhere, bench, walls!!!! Was then informed fridge had been defrosted and would be fine, only to wake next morning to a hot fridge, milk off! Ham been hot! Butter! , so informed front desk again!!!! Went out for day, received phone call from owner..... apologies or so I thought and told we would be refunded..... , on returning later that afternoon to find ants everywhere... through food in cupboards etc.... took photos, only to find out on leaving the next morning a very abrupt lady owner that doesn’t stand by what she said about the refund and was awful to deal with, had to prove by photos about the ants as she tried to deny ever having them and then I was told I shouldn’t of had food in cupboards etc!!!!!..... awful stay and very unhappy guests, be a great story for fair go !!!!!!!

    I didn’t want to pick a star but would not allow me to post my review without doing so 😡 Stayed at Dannemora Motor Inn end of December. Pulled up and thought “nice motel” Boy was I wrong!! Made to pay a whole nights bond (never ever had to pay a bond at a Motel EVER) Adviced to take photos by the people we were with, to safe guard ourselves. So we did. What we found before Our stay was disgusting!! Filthy windows, toilets, shower and spa!! Dirty linen. Pubic hairs in the spa bath! How disgusting is that?! Dirty filthy fan! Dishwasher didn’t work. Had to ask for towels as we weren’t allocated enough for the amount of people staying. No room service which meant no clean towels at all. Like I said we had to ask for clean towels. Broken window latches. The rubbish was piled up behind the office and it wasn’t even our rubbish to begin with! Being accused of being from the slums because we asked for a frying pan to cook. Bond.....wasn’t given back with no explanation at all as to why we didn’t get it back. Ignoring phone calls and emails. For what was paid per night including bond, we should have received much better customer service than what we did. And motel should have a better standard. Will not be staying ever again. And I’ll be making sure friends and family will not be either.
