  We ordered BBQ Spare Ribs and received very strange tasting dry ribs, large bones which could have been from a cow. Dear New Zelanders, come to Europe and learn how to prepare Spare Ribs, you will get rich with these in New Zealand! P.S.: At least the local beers were good!

  Dickens Inn is a pub/restaurant in central Whangarei. The atmosphere is great, with plenty of room to relax & enjoy. With breakfast/brunch small & larger meals served, & if I recall, dinner as well, there is plenty of variety & the price is reasonable.

  Excellent brunch menu, the omelette was fantastic. Service was great, even with lots of customers around, they were very efficient and friendly. Definitely coming back.
