  They do have large stock of everything. But the staff and checkout system is just ridiculous.

  The most well stock Asian groccery in Palmerston North. Prices are higher than Auckland but it is worth while not having to travel uo North to buy!.

  My husband and I went to Dong Sheng Market on September 20, 2016, and we bought 4 packs of soybean curd. When we bought them, we noticed some bad smell, so we asked the lady owner. She insisted that the smell was not from the soybean curd packs, and told us the soybean curd can be kept for much longer time. We decided to believe her. What a mistake! Before I cooked one of the packs that night, I opened it and found the same bad smell. It was clear that the 4 soybean curd packs had been kept too long time in the store and they were all spoiled. It is also clear to me that Dong Sheng sold fresh food way passed their shelf-life, dishonest about it, and still sell them. I shared my experience in the hope that you will not make the same mistakes like us. We will NEVER shop at Dong Sheng again. If you must go, please make sure the shelf-life of the product is still valid. Good luck!!!
