  Very disappointed with this hotel. Perhaps i had too high of expectations but after traveling in a van for two weeks, i just wanted some quiet, internet and a warm bath. Our room didn’t have the tub i thought was standard nor did it get internet signal. I had my heart set on that bath!! I went downstairs to try and get signal but quickly left because there was a photoshoot occurring. When arriving we had to listen to the manager go through each ‘feature’ of the room- including the restaurant suggestion book, ironing and bathroom. Did we not look exhausted?? The building was beautiful but seemed disorganized- the office behind the desk was a mess. I was very concerned about leaving my cc # written on a piece of paper there! Our room had two beds, one was ok but the other had my husband waking at 3am in pain. Save yourself the money and go across the street- much better accommodations at 1/2 the price.

  Stay across the street at the Bealey Plaza Motel. Half the price, but with much better accommodations. We used Room 10. There is no internet access available in that room. The channel selection on the television seems just local programming, as opposed to across the street. The queen bed....I felt every spring in the mattress. Across the street, I had a pillow-top mattress. The single bed in Room 10 is a bit softer. The pillows were very flat, as opposed to across the street, at Bealey Plaza. Back to the internet access.....very, very slow. We had to sit in reception to get anything, but we had to leave when a photo shoot arrived. So back to our room with local channels. We bought this room with an expectation of a great cap to our New Zealand honeymoon, but left very, very disappointed with the price, with respect to the accommodations. Our Abuzzy campervan had two beds that were far more comfortable. Hindsight being 20/20, I would’ve paid half at Bealey Plaza, where we started our journey, and received a quiet night, internet access, a selection of channels, and a bed that was comfortable. Very, very disappointed.

  went for hightea with work. nice food .just one thing would of liked more s avourys than sweets was to many sweet.

  Newish owners. About 2 months. Very gracious. Spent 2 nights in the largest room. AC a bit slow to respond, but works fine after. HUGE shower with regratably one shower head. Ample choices for breakfast. Large portions.
