  Has an amazing front staff and customer service. Pies are never a disappointment and they are made in-store, so you're assured freahness. They have a variety of pies for both meat 🍖 lovers and vegans. If you're a Southlander or passing through Invercargill, its definitely worth trying out.

  Just drove 440Km for a couple of pies. Creamy chicken and bacon, to die for. Person with me had pepper steak and while eating it I could only get one word out of him. WOW then another bite and WOW I have brought 4 home for later, might have to start early. Best pies in the world, and reasonably priced.

  Found out about Fat Bastards a few months ago. Packed the dog in the car and made an 1011km road trip to try them! Was not disappointed! 15/10 and the best pies I have ever had. Never visit Invercargill, or anywhere remotely near, without having a Fat Bastard!!

  Pies are great depending on your preference. I didnt like my mince pie as it was too peppery and the pastry wasnt soft, melt in your mouth. The custard square icing had a weird after flavour. Not what I remember custard squares to taste like.
