  I have never written a review anywhere before, however after my experience on Tuesday Jan 9 2018, I need to share my thoughts. My sister in law, niece & I went to buy flowers for our mother in law's funeral casket. We all have a bond through flowers and gardening & this interlude was planned as a much needed time of calm. We knew a bright, informal bouquet laying flat on the casket would best suit Diana's wishes. We chose flowers & asked for assistance from the shop person, explaining our idea and that the funeral was on the same day. In the space of a few minutes we were told no less than 3 times that this is "normally an ordered item". Our explanation, sadness and request for help did little to gain either compassion or a solution. In an instant we all realised that we would leave the shop. We did, had a reaffirming hug outside and drove straight to Onewa Flowers. Here, we again explained our needs and had the most wonderful response, with the florist guiding us and creating a beautiful bouquet. We will never recommend or return to Barry's Point Road flowers; and of course, many of our friends and family have heard this story...... Please be aware that people in the midst of grief do need support and a florist shop is often a sanctuary. Sylvie Dombroski

  I had my wedding flowers ordered there. the design was fine, but I don't think they did a great job at keep them fresh until the day. by the day I received my bridal bouquet, some of the flowers in it were already looking withered, and the same with the buttonholes. I could see that in many of my wedding pics. i wish they could have done a better job at keeping them fresh and nice.

  I phoned on Monday morning to order to some flowers to be delivered to Northcote Point, and asked if they could be delivered as early as possible, and was absolutely delighted that they had been delivered to the door before my family arrived home. (I explained that the family was arriving from a long overseas flight with a small baby and would want to rest in the afternoon). Thank you very much for not only the lovely blooms but also the prompt delivery!

  Great place to buy glass vases and jars (for wedding place settings etc)
