  Homely cafe with a great range of food from simple to stylish. Nice outdoor courtyard, kids play pen.

  Good old Kiwi style catering with friendly staff. Would definitely go there again.

  I just had a steak and cheese pie from Frans. I was going to recommend this advice to them via email but they don't seem to have one. The pie was great except for the fact that the sauce was not sauce at all, it was totally jelly. It had WAY TOO MUCH gelatin added to the sauce, so it was full on jelly, no sauciness to it at all. It was still very tasty, the pastry was perfect and the meat was nice, all very well seasoned, but the filling was really just bits of meat encased in jelly, rather than sauce. It's rather off-putting eating jelly rather than sauce. Frans - please don't put so much gelatin in your pie fillings! It's a meat pie not a jelly pie 😆 Other than the jelly-ness the pies are perfect.
