  Food wasn't any better than you'd expect from a takeaway. Service was appalling. No water served until we asked for it. We were then given glasses in a stack. Plates were then just kept on the table and we had to arrange them ourselves! We were then served food with no cutlery, had to wait a few minutes before we could grab the attention of a waitress to ask for cutlery. Overall, poor experience. Not sure why this place is rated high.

  Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Dunedin. We recently went to a Dim Sum restaurant in Auckland and the food here is way better. Family-owned and run, and the owner is there every day to make sure the good quality and service is high. Don’t miss out on the wonton & spicy sauce, XO turnip cake, and prawn rice flour rolls! Will be coming back here - we highly recommend!

  Delightful restaurant to eat in. Delicious food. Family friendly. Helpful and happy staff. We visited over and over on our few days in Dunedin. Yummy yum cha.The kids loved it too.

  One of the best Chinese restaurant in Dunedin city Centre. The owner and the staffs were very friendly and the prices were quite reasonable. The restaurant is vegetarian friendly. We strongly recommended to our family & friends. If you visit Dunedin you must visit Golden Harvest Restaurant.
