The lure in the E2/A24 trap simply doesn't work in an urban environment. I purchased a trap from DIY pest supplies in Australia, and despite deploying the trap in multiple locations in an infested building, none of the rodents had any interest in it. In over two months, this trap has yet to kill its first rodent. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with the trap, it's just that the lure is utterly useless, which in turn makes the trap useless.

Great traps, that are set and forget (though around the home you watch constantly to see what's happening). Customer service goes above and beyond if there is something wrong or even potentially wrong with your trap.

Goodnature's A24 device is a major threat to species such as hedgehogs and red squirrels in the UK in particular and Europe in general. The manufacturer has recently started exporting to the UK where they will have a devastating effect on our native species. This device was designed to kill introduced species which are classified as pests in N.Z. These introduced species include squirrels and hedgehogs - both of which are already in rapid decline in much of Europe. The A24 is an automated kill device that is designed to be "Set & Forget". It can make 24 kills before the gas power runs out. It is a kill device that does not discriminate between different species . Also the users of these devices have no idea of what has been killed because the killed animal falls out of the device and its body is removed by scavengers or predators.

a great idea that advances the way in which pests are eradicated, from both an ecological and humane perspective.
