  Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Man hat zwar eine nische für sein Fahrzeug und auch seine Ruhe weil nicht viel los ist aber die Anlage wird nicht wirklich gepflegt. An der Rezeption fühlt man sich auch nicht wirklich willkommen was in Neuseeland eigentlich gar nicht möglich ist. Die Duschen sind auch sehr abgenutzt und es bedarf einer Sanierung. Nur die Lage ist gut.

  Handy spot to stay over in Hamilton. Private sites, good facilities. No TV reception where we were, due to lush trees.

  We arrived at the campsite with our friend. We were self contained so we would stay at a free campsite. The reception staff told us our friend can only stay at the campsite if we stay as well. Very unfriendly!

  The owners were very accommodating and helped us to store our bags and gave very good local knowledge! The location was pretty good too, about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Hamilton. The tent pitch was flat and well covered with grass. The facilities around the campsite were good; hot showers, a T.V. room with books and board games, outdoor barbecues and a kitchen! There was both a rental charge and deposit for the cooking equipment. I felt this was unfair as if you require a kitchen, chances are you need the equipment also! We thought that a deposit was reasonable but to charge a rental fee on top was a little excessive; having a deposit held would be enough motivation to ensure that we took care of the equipment.
