  We have used HCB for a number of years for our international holidays. The team are knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are similar and often better than what we could find booking direct ourselves but with the added security of booking through a travel agent. Highly recommend!

  Perhaps business is conducted differently in New Zealand than the US, but for this agency who advertises "traveler assistance" I am surprised with their response to "assistance". I gave them 1 star based on their candor and honesty that they didn't see the value in investing time and effort to win a new client, and in admitting that their prices are not competitive. Strange business model. Here is the reply I got from their agent: Many thanks for sending through this information. We look after a lot of inbound enquiries who are referred to us. We would love to look after your arrangements for you however, given the time of year and being a busy company, we do not want to put a lot of time into quoting your arrangements for you to obtain quotes through other avenues and end up booking through another agent as we have had this happen before from enquiries who are not referred to us and end up booking elsewhere due to a minimal price difference.
