  Restraunt and bar area looks nice enough, haven't eaten there so can't say what the food is like. I'm in a single room and sharing a bathroom, for what i paid for it's perfectly fine, nothing flashy, it's plain but it's just a place to sleep which is all I wanted! Clean, affordable, and good location.

  Very clean accommodation, self catering but with kitchen available. Supermarkets across the road. The bar does good food. We liked it. No frills but good. Pleasant staff.

  I risk overwhelming this place with customers if I get too carried away so I'll keep it understated, like the place itself. I've stayed in many places in Matamata. I'll come back here. That meal was awesome. Surf and turf. Nice quiet atmosphere after a hard day of work and another one tomorrow. Room is very simple, got one with a private bathroom, but will just go the shared bathroom next time as they are spotless, and I'm a germ-a-phobe. Note: my room is not suitable for the previous girlfriend that requires a spacious romantic boudoir, but it's perfect for a one night stay. I'll be back for more.

  One of those occasions when you stumble on a local haunt and it was excellent. The food was great and the service was as good as any in the big city. I highly recommend it and will definitely go again

  Budget..... you get what you pay for. Very pleasant staff. Room very basic no desk /table or chairs. Bathroom useble but moldy in places and some paint coming off. Great powerful shower!
