  An hilariously good place to stay. Like visiting 1970s Tauranga. Recommended.

  Fantastic hidden gem of a hotel, reminds me very much of the British hotel chain “Britannia” in terms of decor, carpet, furnishings etc. First of all the bad: 1: there were various stains on every surface from the carpets, the walls (including bathroom) and even the ceiling. 2: the ceiling fan mechanism was there and working but no blades. The circle of dust it blew into the artex ceiling was still there. 3: the air conditioner smelled horrible when turned on so we just slept with the windows open The good: 1: spa bath was great 2: bathroom was huge and had 2 sinks 3: 4th floor was nice and quiet and felt secure 4: friendly staff 5: balcony was spacious (two chairs but sadly no table) 6: spinning couch chairs very comfy All in all I’d recommend this place to anyone. Get a cheap deal on internet and you’re laughing

  Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed. The pool was clean and heated. Beds were supercomfy. The room was clean and tidy and soundproof which is great ! Staff is very friendly. Very nice place and I would like to return. It's good value for money.

  Lovely hotel but a little bit old. Our bathroom door knob just popped out. Beds are very soft. Besides that, nothing much to complain about.
