  A well used facility, showing it's age in the accommodation but over all a sound place to stay. Food was nice, but not alot of variety. Staff were quite friendly too.

  A bit outdated meal was OK last time but the time before not so. Very mediocre

  Attended a function at a function venue there in the evening would rate it Ok not exceptional but not sure how much that relates to organisers of function and price paid rather than the hotel management and staff. Hugh Perrs Timaru

  The hotel was easy to find, comfortable and quaint. The staff was really polite and David the general manager personally attended to our queries.

  booked 2 rooms for the 30th December. The lady that I dealt with on check in was a star, I have never had such great service, and I have travelled a lot both locally and overseas. she could be faulted, so helpful. I don't know were she came from but she needs to be cloned and sent all around the world. She turned an already enjoyable stay to an exceptional one. we will be back.
