  Better prices has now made this a better place to go. $11 works well for me. As this is in a shopping complex - parking is plentiful. Easter Sunday - the only one of a few places open. Good day for a movie. It was quiet on the day. Foyer was an emptiness. A TV screen showing movie shorts. And a video game arcade. Seating was good, cushioned and soft - therefore warm. Airconditioning was a bit on the high side - my hands indicated it was cold. Sound quality - good. Viewing angle and screen also good. My only disappointment as this was the first movie screened of the day, the cinema was still dirty with popcorn in most places, floor, arm rests and down the cracks of seats. Toilets were clean and smelt ok. Food - still the bane of cinemas - avoided. They have a reward system - which I did join up on the day - will see how this works.

  Solid theatre, Xtreme screen is cool. General pricing is reasonable at $11 for a standard screen.

  Sound and video quality is great, and seating is comfortable. Prices are much better since they were lowered but snacks and drinks are still quite pricey. Gotta make their money somehow though :)

  Good movie zone. The screens are smaller but have a great sound system. Good thing they changed the price down to $11 usually $18, cheers to that. Get hoyts card and the second movie is free. They used to give student discount don't if they changed it too, you never know better to ask. Combo's are needed.

  Easily Christchurch's premier movie complex. Pricing is currently competitive with other theatre chains, with the usual expensive cinema food on sale. However staff are more than happy to let you take any cold, packaged food or beverages into the theatre (no hot food). Useful tip: book your tickets online beforehand to avoid the ques
