  Pathetic food. Been here before and obviously looks like the chef has changed. Absolutley flavorless.. extra hot only meant a load of chilli. There was heat and no flavor. Very disappointed as this was our favorite place to go when visiting Rotorua.wont be going back anytime soon. I wouldn't even rate it a single star. Something has gone very wrong with the service and cleanliness as well. Got our glasses changed twice.

  Amazing indian food, no one does it like this in Sydney. Must eat. Excellent service.

  Although the food was fine when we finally got it, we were not impressed with the customer service and time waiting for the food at this "award-winning" restaurant. It took a long time for our order to be taken, and about 15 minutes to get the entree. Then after that, we waited another 30-40 minutes for our curries. We watched all the other tables (5 others) around us get served first even though we had been seated and ordered before them. We asked a staff member where our food was and he never came back to tell us. Although they apologised for the wait (after we went up to the counter too), it cast a negative light over the meal! So don't order entrees, it appeared to put us at the end of the queue.

  Worst experience... Where should i start, the customer service was appalling and then it took ages for the food to come and the food was so bad when we asked the waiter to change it he was not happy about it and think came back with the same food again. Did not even finish our lunch so had to do some takeaways. The guy did not even have the courtesy to apologise or even ask if we enjoyed the food. Not going back here again.

  Awful service!! Almost racist in their approach! We ordered a chicken korma and fish curry and their curry was exactly the same, it didn’t taste bad but looked like they are lazy and probably use the same gravy for a variety of dishes. We were hungry so gobbled the food anyway but the thing that disturbed us the most was a horrible service that this restaurant offered us towards the end of our dinner, the owner/ manager/ the bearded guy who is horribly rude , not only picked on our accents and mocked about it but also mentioned that they are the best and won’t care for a a few bad reviews. He seemed drunk himself and spoke totally out of context with just a motive to throw his weight around , now that he is number 1 on trip advisor! I say these places should be banned and we should give way to more thriving , humble and keen restaurant owners who would provide a much better service!
