Easily the most delicious (and French 😍) cafe in Wellington, I've been to in a long time. Coffee perfect! What surprised me were the prices were very reasonable. Thank you for that! πŸ₯³πŸ·πŸ₯°

La cloche has a delightful selection of gorgeous patisseries. The patisseries offered vary per season, with some classic staples remaining throughout. It's a great place to take friends and I recommend taking the patisseries or even the macarons as a gift the next time you're stumped about gift shopping, consider a sweet treat (or two!).

My partner and I have been here a couple times now and the food is AMAZING, the coffee is GREAT, and the service is EXCELLENT. One staff member in particular is just lovely...his name is β€˜Flo’. He’s very friendly, smiley, and gives fantastic customer service. We mentioned this to him, and he said...when he works at a place like this, all he can do is smile. We can’t recommend this place and the staff, enough! We’ve definitely become regulars. Thank you. :)

I took two school age children here for morning tea and they loved trying to choose a sweet cake treat from the long cabinet. A big challenge because there were so many to choose from. They eventually decided on a chocolate mousse each. I went for the crusty outside and the creamy inner of a Brest. I have met friends here for lunch and it's always a consistent food experience. The Onion soup is served incredibly hot and too hard to eat until it cools but is cheesy and lined with bread as we usual and has a great broth flavour. This cafe is very busy during the school holidays around lunchtime. A destination cafe that serves good quality French food. The kids were delighted with the old space ship ride for a dollar a ride.
