  Took our Hilux Ute to Lamberts because the RR wheel was locking up under braking. They worked on the vehicle for approx two hours, then told us the problem was fixed. They said the caliper piston was sticking. The very next day, the problem was back again still locking up. I don't know if they even test drove it. Took the Ute back for a second attempt to fix it. Same again, they worked on the vehicle and said it had been repaired. Got charged a second time because they said it was a separate issue and not the piston. Sure enough, the problem came back straight away. Enter a retired mechanic who does a few odd jobs working from home. He found the problem straight away, showed us, fixed it in an hour and it's been working excellent ever since. Turns out that the brake shoes on the right side was adjusted more than the left causing the Ute wheels to pull up uneven. We spent over $300 at Lambert's for a job they didn't and couldn't repair. It was a simple problem that was overlooked by so called brake experts that should have picked up straight away. A disgrace. We have never been back to them.
