  This place is always crowded with ques going out of the doors. Staff are trying to do their best I suppose. Definitely needs more staffing. Be prepared to spend at least 15-20mins here.

  The older employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Some of the younger ones need training. One wanted me to fill out a customs declaration for a $5 calendar to Europe (!!) - I had to suggest it be sent as a letter without declaration (also cheaper) - SHE should have suggested that to me. I had clearly marked Austria as destination and she thought it was going to Australia!! Moreover my family constantly receives mail for others (as others have commented below). On one occasion when they gave the postman back the erroneous mail and pointed out that it couldnt be for us, he said he didnt know where the address was and would probably throw it away!! Even in very poor countries there is a higher work ethic in postal services than that! The Manukau manager should be ashamed of himself.

  Totally agree with Phanni Mp, worst ever service, and you stand in a queue for ages. Then they don't want to help you let alone talk to you with a real bad attitude. Seriously Manukau and Manurewa if your Manager is reading this you need to do something about it because your service sucks. Yous don't help in directing with postage then when we send an item paying extra fees but for what? Late service! Shame on you! follow the example of Papakura post shop, which after travelling from one end of south Auckland to another I have to travel that far just to get good service and help.

  Sent a courier on Saturday from this post shop which is supposed to be reached to Wellington by Monday or at least by Tuesday but due to someones negligence, it was only picked up from post shop on Tuesday. This is so important courier where I don't have any margin for delays. All these days i thought NZ post is worst in regards to home deliveries but now I can say, they are worst in courier service too.
