  I have been popping in here to and from Bay of Islands for years. Beer, food and staff have ALWAYS been excellent- this place rates a 5 star every time. Not cheap but definitely value for money. Great place to hook up with friends or just a pleasant meal etc with partners. All credit to Geoff, Clayton and staff over the years. Spike, Air NZ.

  First things first, Mclouds beers are hands down the best in the region, dare I say best in NZ!? Cozy place with relaxed atmosphere. The food is comfortable, basic and yet never disappoints. We will be back the next time we're driving through.

  Great place to eat! Fun old school decor. Be sure to check out the mirrors before the entrance to the ladies toilets to see infinity of yourself. Ladies toilets were cutely decorated as well with retro wall paper and a funky lamp. We had pizzas, nachos and Fush & Chups (yeah that’s what it’s called! Haha) and a couple of ciders which were also good.
