  Not what would be expected from a big outfit like Midas. My son trusted Midas to have his brakes fixed for his wof but failed the test by 36%. So we returned back to Midas and he rectified the problem and we got the wof. Looking at the receipt it did say test drive! If that was the case then how come I noticed the brakes were spongy and on the receipt it says test drive?

  Very friendly people. Russell is highly recommended mechanic. He know what he is doing not just guess work like Avalon tyres or the ignorant and super unreasonablely expensive automotive solutions. If he doesn't know, which is rare, he will tell you which I really like as most garages in NZ happy to fix Tesla when they only work on Corollas in there life time. Highly recommended for regular maintenance and again, Russell and his crew is awesome.

  We came to Midas when we were completely helpless and Russell took his time to have a look and give an honest opinion on how we should deal with our situation and even supported us when we called him again later. We would definitely recommend this place. Thanks again for your help!

  Russell is the first mechanic that doesn't try and rip you off. They charge a fair price and treat you well. Whilst they might not have any old magazines or a tv to keep you occupied, the advice and work is well worth the sacrifice. I will travel from rotorua for work on my car, they really impressed me. Also- if Russel gives you reccomendations for further work; it's not because he is trying to rip you off, it's actually worth listening to.
