::It's a very nice place but it can look pretty daunting as a lot of the things they have here don't really look that nice. It's hard to describe, but there pastries look a little dry, their cakes look a little hard and their drinks don't look like anything special. BUT... how wrong I was, beautiful food, gorgeous drinks and great service. Lovely lovely lovely place!

::The choice of food is quite diverse with a selection of vegan options. The dishes are very neatly presented and the quality of the produces used is of a very high standard which contribute to the dishes being full of flavours. The decor is alternative and retro. I have only ever been there for brunch and have always managed to get a seat to eat but as it's a very busy location so it pays to be there early.

::This morning I ordered scrambled eggs on toast. Reasonably priced and yummy. Midnight espresso is known for there brilliant atmosphere, it never lets me down. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 Star is because the staff weren’t friendly, though since I work in hospitality I understand what it’s like when your busy and under pressure. Sometimes just a smile is enough though!

::I've lived in wellington for more than half my life, and this is my all time favorite cafe. AWESOME coffee, food, music, people, position... there's really nothing i dont like! other than sometimes i cant get a seat cause it seems everyone loves it as much as me... especially awesome baking :D

::I'd heard great things about this place so expectations were high. Staff were friendly, even though it was really busy. Venue is kinda kitsch but not super comfy. Food was tasty, portions were huge! Some great vegan options. This place is an institution honestly, there's not many better menus for vegans in Wellington. It's always changing it counter treats too. Its open super late which is a massive bonus for vegan treats late at night. It's nice but perhaps when it's less busy and the coffee could be nicer.
