  One of the best Mitre10 Mega’s in the country. Great staff, with knowledge and a genuine interest in providing good customer service. A large store with one of the widest in store product ranges available. Community BBQ shed out front for free hire to local schools and organisations to support the fundraising efforts. Decent sized cafe with a selection of hot and cold cabinet food and an a la carte menu as well. Large car park.

  Very courteous patient junior staff member. Sadly loud negative senior staff member. Lovely food.

  We were having morning tea at Mitre 10 Mega this morning in Masterton when one of our group collapsed. The cafe staff we're absolutely wonderful getting the StJohn's lady and calling an ambulance. They couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We have highest praise for them. We were a bit shaken and they even offered us a cup of coffee on the house.

  One of my fav stores because it's very well set up for access for wheelchairs. So many shops are not. If they had more sales & better prices it would be perfect, but shoplifters have put our prices up as they stupidly steal off a company with the thought they are covered by insurance - it just makes the insurance premiums go up which has to come back on the consumer (*US*, - for you dumb thieves). Still, I love Mitre10 - the staff are all happy and friendly bunch is half the shopping battle!

  Some reviews have pointed Mitre 10 Masterton in a bad light and as I see it, every store has it's ups and downs. No store is perfect. Mitre 10 Masterton stores most of what I need. Prices are ok. Some are way over priced but on a whole they do stock the basics for my reno job that sometimes can be cheaper than the competitors. Other times, I have the option of going elsewhere when all else fails. The store itself is clean and well laid out. Staff are friendly and helpful and seem to know what's on the shelves. I have had a few occasions where no one was around to ask questions which was a bit of a pain , but it's really not a bad little store to get what you need conveniently.
