  The manager and his wife were not very welcoming.They have a pool that's not maintained at all and when we asked to view the pool it looked so dirty and not maintained. They refused to give us a place just cause we asked to view the place, well that kind of attitude is not meant for hospitality industry. The manger's wife compalined to him that we were rude and I don't see anything rude in asking to view the place. I'm posting this review so they learn to treat their guests better.

  Nahe am SH1 gelegen und doch ruhig. Schnelles W-Lan und Top Ausstattung (Handtücher, Seife, Küche, Terrasse).

  Nice clean motel. Friendly hosts - will definitely stay again. Plenty of parking, super comfy beds. :-)-

  Check in was awesome Kath was very friendly and had a good laugh with her, that's where the fun ended. The other host was a bit of a character, if you are going to stay here please watch the compendium and adhere to the 10pm rule!!! Have a pad and paper with you or learn sign language because talking in your room above 60 decibels is NOT ALLOWED! You are watched like a hawk and was told "I was standing out the back and I could hear, it was very loud". Going to the toilet or having a shower was a bit dodgy not sure if he was still 'listening'. Have stayed at many Motels in Whangarei and this was the first time I have ever felt like checking out straight away. If not for the fact you had to pay up front, I would have. Room was clean but a bit dated, and a few of the appliances need replacing, but again the room was clean (thank you lovely cleaning lady). Give this place a wide berth, a shame because their pool and play area for kids is fantastic, not a happy person!!

  Great stay! Would highly recommend. Place is perfectly located. On main highway and across from sporting complex. Plenty of space, pool was great, awesome staff, helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms clean. We stayed in the house. Thanks for having us:)
