  I've stayed here a couple of times, same room(unit) about halfway back from road on ground floor. Cannot fault these guys or recommend them enough. The room was crazy clean, the shiniest kitchen bench and shower tray I've ever seen in my life!! The room had two double beds and a single, nice warm heater, sky tv, very comfy in general. The owners are really nice and friendly. The 2nd time I stayed here my son was in hospital and to top things off I got a flat battery when I went to pick him and partner up. Without even asking, they asked if I needed a jump start and came out straight away with cables. Legends! The cost is really affordable and it's super close to everything. Only thing I'm gutted about is that I didn't manage to sneak in a spa.

  Well maintained, clean and good 1 or 2 bedroom units. Close to city center and beside McDonald, KFC and many other restaurants. Owner is friendly and reasonable. Although the free wifi was relatively poor and disconnecting frequently, personally I will consider it as my first choice of stay in whangarei for future visits.
