  I've stayed here many times spanning 4 decades. Still a very nice camp with clean facilities. Great location.

  Good location (right in the middle of town). Clean facilities. Affordable prices. But too many families with babies and kids, so if you are looking for a peaceful place this is not the right place for you.

  Great location. The parking spaces are tiered so the ones in the back are higher, allowing for a good view of the ocean. Situated at the base of Mount Maunganui which makes it quite beautiful for camping. Nice modern shower & bath area.

  The location is good but the camp ground likes to pack you in. Showers, toilets and kitchen very modern. Very attractive scenic coastal walks on the door step and city/town centre very close at hand. We had a nice sea front site but still felt like a sardine. Shame for it could be really fantastic.

  Great place, great location. Toilet/Shower were clean. The only downside from my point of view goes to the Tent area, where it is shared with big caravans, and the grass is pretty tough, hard ground to peg down the tent. Not enough grassy area, but ground/gravel/dirt. Maybe it was just my spot and the ones beside me, but I had to ask permission to my neighbour so I could have my tent over the grass. He was ok with that. Cleaning staff very friendly, reception always very busy. But still smiling after all. Bathroom and kitchen areas with personal keys, so it does feel safe. My kids loved it.
