An interesting family stop. Enjoyed the boiler exhibit. Many other exhibits, including motorcycles. Lots of outdoor walking; wear your sun block.

This is a museum that’s has something for everyone, young & old. Engaging exhibits from all time periods. Easy to get to & parking was not a problem. Take the trams up to the aerospace museum for a mind blowing treat....no spoilers....😎 Block out s few hrs as there is a lot to see. Little ones will not be board with all the tactile exhibits mom n dad may be a bit worn out so there are a few places to relax & have some snacks. All in all a good day out.

Great place to take the kids, cool free military, tram & train rides on 'live' days plus heaps of other activities. Free for special needs children & one carer!! The cafe on site is hideously expensive but doesn't do a bad coffee actually. Heaps of parking available

Awesome place to take the kids. A good mix of hands on activities and exhibits just to look at. Not as spread out as the map would have you believe so not too bad on a wet day, if you're lucky they'll have an umbrella for you to use

Wow, this place has a whole lot of stuff to look at. Great displays, with fantastic information to go along with it. They have a collection of some of the most fascinating aircraft. Because this place is so spread out, there is a tram that will take you to all of the different areas. The tram is also an exhibit! I do wish they had more automobiles. But they certainly had enough things to entertain me for the time I was there! A great place if you have children. Allow an entire day to explore all of the areas. I suppose I'll just have to come back to New Zealand to see the rest.
